Blackberry Protein Waffles
Blackberry Protein Waffles
- 1 3/4 - 2 Cups non dairy milk
- 1 Cup flour (oat, spelt or all purpose)
- 1/2 Cup pea protein
- 1/2 Cup blackberries
- 1/4 Cup maple syrup*
- 2 TBS coconut oil
- 1 TBS baking powder
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- optional: powdered sugar, blueberries
- Preheat waffle iron. Add all ingredients except blackberries to a bowl and mix.
- Stir blackberries into batter.
- Pour batter into waffle iron and cook until waffles reach your desired consistency. Garnish with powdered sugar and extra blueberries.
*More or less syrup can be used depending on how sweet you want your waffles.
