Blackberry Protein Waffles

Blackberry Protein Waffles

 

  • 1 3/4 - 2 Cups non dairy milk
  • 1 Cup flour (oat, spelt or all purpose)
  • 1/2 Cup pea protein
  • 1/2 Cup blackberries
  • 1/4 Cup maple syrup*
  • 2 TBS coconut oil
  • 1 TBS baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • optional: powdered sugar, blueberries

 

  1. Preheat waffle iron. Add all ingredients except blackberries to a bowl and mix.
  2. Stir blackberries into batter.
  3. Pour batter into waffle iron and cook until waffles reach your desired consistency. Garnish with powdered sugar and extra blueberries.

*More or less syrup can be used depending on how sweet you want your waffles.
