Fresh Taco Sauce


  • 3 Cups fresh tomatoes diced
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1/2 onion diced
  • 1/2 cup broth or water
  • 2 TBS vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp hot chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • lemon squeeze


1.  Add onions to a pot on low heat. Cook until translucent.

2. Add tomatoes and garlic, stirring frequently until garlic becomes fragrant.


3. Add remaining ingredients, raise heat to medium and bring to a boil. 


4. Once boiling, reduce heat to a simmer and cover for 20min. Stir occasionally to prevent burning.


4. Turn off heat & allow to cool.


5. Pulse sauce in a blender & serve.
